Fire
by Nick Ustinov

Classic fire effect - once again if you still don't know how to do that. Start a new grayscale image. Use black background, white foreground. Make sure to leave some space in the top for the flames. If you are using Photoshop 4.0 don't forget to merge down the type layer by hitting Ctrl-E (or Cmd-E on Mac)

Mode/Color Tables choose Black Body...

If you are having problems with colors, this means you didn't start with a grayscale image. No big deal, just do Mode>Grayscale before changing to Indexed Color and applying color tables.
